Vermont Commission on Native American Affairs
The Vermont Commission on Native American Affairs had a monthly meeting June 13, 2018 where Moccasin Tracks was able to video. The Commissioners present included Chief Eugene Rich, Chair Melody Walker Brook, Carol Irons, Carol McGranaghan, and Andrea Brett. We included presentation by Vermont Council on Disabilities and Aging with Monica Hutt and Angela Smith-Dieng. Guest presentation by Fred Wiseman who talked on a Cultural Center. Also Jess Robinson, state archaeologist, talked about protecting sites of the ancestors. The commission will meet September 2018 and minutes and agendas can be found at www.vcnaa.vermont.gov
