ORCA Media... "Speak!"
Welcome to Onion River Community Access Media, commonly known as ORCA.
ORCA covers a sizable chunk of Central Vermont. This area includes the towns of Berlin, Bethel, Braintree, Calais, Duxbury, East Montpelier, Middlesex, Montpelier, Moretown, Randolph, Rochester, Waterbury and Worcestor.
Onion River Community Access Media, Inc. (ORCA Media) is a full-service Community Media Center (CMC), providing production facilities and technological solutions. We are here to give a voice to individuals and organizations in the communities served by Comcast's Central Vermont franchise area. ORCA may be seen on cable channels 15, 16 & 17 in our area. A non-profit 501(c)3 organization, we are funded primarily by a percentage of cable revenues.
Thank you, cable subscribers!
We are currently seeking underwriters, if you or your company are interested in underwriting a program such as Democracy Now!, please contact our General Manager.
We strive to educate community members in the effective use of media. We have the studio, cameras, and editing equipment required to produce quality local programs, all at no charge.
ORCA Media is located in the City Center building at Montpelier's busiest intersection.
